KB Style Guide: Fall + Winter Shoes Edition
Hey, y'all! The season is changing and you're starting to reach for your layers and cooler weather KB pieces! One question we get asked a lot is "What shoes do you pair with your kantha?" Good question! Grace and I have taken the time to round up some of our personal favorite footwear for the Fall and Winter months... if you need a little boho shoe inspiration, check it out!
And don't forget to check out the Besties group for all the styling inspo and more! There you'll find besties like Aida Rushing, who are always posting the cutest shoes!!
1. Blundstone Boots
A go with everything, good for every activity FAVE! These are my must-haves. The best quality shoes I think I’ve ever had, true to size, waterproof, good for dressing up or going on a hike! I’ve had mine for 3 years and they still look new! Also, super comfy!!
2. Roolee Elvis Platform in black
Need a Doc Marten dupe for under $100? Look no further! I just could not justify spending the money on Docs when I knew I would only be able to dress them up (for the most part) and not hike in them etc…Then I came across these and honestly… I dare say I like them better than Docs! They sell out a lot so snag them while you can! True to size, comfy and well made!
3. Minnetonka Moccasins
The easy peasy, go with everything, throw on boho shoe! I toss these on all the time. Simple and go with just about any outfit! Well made, comfy and true to size!
1. Scarletts by Freebird in Black Multi
Worth the splurge, y'all... though I can't take credit for finding these! Our bestie Jessie Pin popped these in the Besties group and I fell in love... the PERFECT transitional fall shoe. And such a statement!! I constantly get stopped when I wear these! They are so rock n roll, but also very bohemian. I can't imagine any KB style that these wouldn't complement!
2. Parker Combat Bootsby Universal Thread in Cream
White combat boots are in, yo! These are a great dupe for the Justine Canvas Lace-Up Boots by Anthropologie! So comfortable and stylish... an easy way to add a little mod flare to any of your favorite KB outfits.
3. Bandana Booties by Eastland in Black
These are fun because they are a cross between a traditional combat boot and a block heeled ankle boot. Their sturdy soles make them great for rainy fall days. Pair them with tall wool socks in cooler weather, or rock em with no-show ankle socks for a different vibe. Incredibly comfy with memory foam soles, and a great edgy match for any and all Kantha. Now I'm coveting the brown pair...
4. Birdie Starling Flats in Cognac Leather
Currently sold out, BOO (but check Poshmark and Mercari!) As a tall girl, I am a big fan of classic flats! These femme leather beauties go with all the kantha things, and are more comfortable than my slippers... seriously. They have engineered so much arch support into these shoes, its insane. Plus, they are duchess Meghan Markle's favorite shoe!
ALL BORN SHOES AND BOOTS!!!!!!
