Take the rings in one hand over the shoulder of your choice. Take the tail in the other hand.
Pull the tail through the rings. Thread the tail over the outside ring and through the middle of the inside ring without twisting the rails. Spread the fabric evenly through the rings. The tail should not be twisted.
Lift the fabric band up over baby’s back. Continue to support your baby’s weight.
Pull the tail corresponding to the top and bottom rail to tighten the sling. Baby’s bum and legs should form an "M" position where the knees are higher than the bum.
Gather the tail taking care not to twist the fabric. (You may use one hand. Both hands used here for demo)
Adjust the shoulder pad comfortably on your shoulder. Double check the top and bottom rails are not twisted.
Reach into the sling and pull the bottom rail upwards between you and your baby creating a deep seat for your baby. Gather all excess fabric around your baby and pull it towards the rings.

The fabric should be spread out evenly across your back without any twisting in the tail.
Lift your baby to your shoulder and support their weight while guiding there legs through the sling. Settle their bum in the bottom rail of the fabric. The fabric should rest at their knees.
Make sure to fully spread the sling across your back for proper comfort and support.
