Hey friends!
I’m Lisa, an assistant at Kantha Bae. I’m so proud to say Krista was the first baby that made me “Mom”! And I’m so so proud to see her living her dream! Thankful to be a part of her story!A little about me…..
I grew up on the eastern coast of N.C. I am a beach girl through and through! Met the ‘love of my life’ at college in Tennessee. I loved my life journeying with Craig for 38 married years. We worked as a team in church ministry in the area of Nashville. We were blessed with three wonderful children: Krista, Jared, and Jessica. They are now grown and have added many members to our ever growing family. I am ‘Mia’ to my ten ‘so loved’ grandchildren.
I taught elementary and middle school for 22 years. I’ve had the opportunity since then to work with my daughter Jessica; then on my own cleaning; and have been working with Krista at Kantha since 2017. At Kantha, I presently assist in shipping, but am flexible to wherever the Kantha team needs me. Such an awesome team to work with!
So many amazing stories connected with Kantha! I proudly wear the Kantha garments! And this new launch of Khadi had me at go! Especially the lounge pants, shirt n blazers!!! But you’ll still see me wearing my favorite ole style ‘Flow rompers’ and the shortie muus! Love that there are ever-changing styles appearing for all the different friends of Kantha!
My life journey took a turn in Nov 2019, when I became a widow. My husband, Craig, fought strong in his battle with cancer. I am ever so thankful for the life we shared! I miss my love every day!
Ever so thankful for the blessings of life the Lord has given me! To Him I owe all praise!
I have many ‘loves’ that brighten my days! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the beach! Truly God’s most beautiful creation! Love my cup of java with creamer (seriously)! Love dark chocolates, ice cream, fruit, and nuts!! Could walk all day long! Love new trails! Love traveling when I have opportunity! Presently enjoying the Netflix ‘Heartland’ series! Above all, I love my time with family! They bring me such great joy!
I look forward to being a part of the continual expansion of Kantha Bae!
